A Crash Course in Christian Mysticism
MORE Coming Soon
I stumbled into Christian Mysticism when my old structures of performative religion, false ego, and Western rationalism finally began failing. If you are here, it might be because you’ve realized that the “God” you were taught to believe in was too small for the Reality you are experiencing.
The Mystic Awakening is not a new set of rules. It is a recovery of the Historical Christian Path: a process of ego-death, perceptual recalibration, and integration into the “All in All.”
An Entryway:
Before you dive into the deep waters, start with something simple. These are 21 “bullets” that point past the status quo, with concise, testable logic, to reframe Salvation and the Second Coming. It is an Ad Fontes (Back to the Sources) moment.
Biblical Exegesis: Framing the Narrative
We don’t read the Bible to find rules; we read it to find the Map of Awakening. By looking through the lens of original languages (Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic) and historical context, the “Cover to Cover” story changes:
- Genesis (The Alpha): Not a science textbook, but the diagnostic manual for the Birth of the Ego. It’s the story of how humanity began “hiding in the bushes” of its own neuroses.
- John (The Incarnation): The move from the Law of the Letter to the Logic of the Logos. Here, we find the “I AM” not as a title for a deity, but as an invitation to a state of Being.
- Revelation (The Omega): Not the “End of the World,” but the Unveiling of Reality. The Apocalypse is the collective realization of the “Son of Man” pattern within us all.
Atonement & Eschatology: The End is the Beginning
In the Western tradition, these were about “Courtrooms” and “Fire.” In Mystical Christianity, they’re about Participation.
- The Cross: Not a payment to an angry God, but a Pattern of Ego-Death that leads to Resurrection life.
- At-one-ment: The literal process of integration where the fragmented self becomes “one” with Reality.
- Eschatology: The “End of the World” is actually the End of the Ego and empires. The Second Coming is the “Coming Capitulation” of the false self to the Ultimate Truth.
Anthropology: The Human Design
To understand God, you must understand the “Mechanism” you are using to perceive Him. We are Homo Participans—beings designed to participate in the divine nature.
- The 5 Worlds: Navigating through the Infosphere and Noosphere so we can “Touch Grass” and talk again.
- The Map of Being: A somatic journey through the Body (feelings/cravings), Mind (intellect/peace), Heart (empathy), and Soul (the gut/shadow/creativity).
- The Inner Compass: Using Love, Truth, Death, and Life to navigate the “Funhouse Self.”
Spirit & Prophecy: The Teleological Attractor
Prophecy is not “fortune telling”; it is Prophetic Sanity. It is the ability to see the Telos (the end goal/pattern) of the Spirit (Pneumology) in the middle of the current chaos.
- Insight over Foresight: Seeing what others are blind to because you are tuned to the Pattern.
- The Practice: From meditation and prayer to “Spicy Psychology” rituals like fasting and sweat lodges—these are tools to decentralize the ego and abandon control.
- Magic & Practical Christian Practice: Magic has been called “spicy psychology,” and I don’t mind that. Faith is another good word for it. Where we live, here and now, is where miracles happen and the Divine meets us. Learning how to do this well is a real discipline.
Recovery & Mental Health: The Path to Reality
I’m a “subject matter expert” in the intersection of the “Spiritual Malady” and Mental Health. Recovery is simply the practical application of Mysticism to learn how to live well.
- Crisis Protocol: A tactical guide to stopping the bleeding, clearing the noise, and restoring agency during a mental health or spiritual crisis.
- Addiction as Misguided Worship: Understanding the hole in the soul that only Reality can fill.
- The 12 Steps for Everyone: A framework for the “Change of Mind” (Metanoia) required for anyone to survive the modern world.
