Drunk Pastor: Not A Job Title
Life has a way of teaching us things no classroom or title can fully prepare us for, especially when facing addiction, searching for spiritual clarity, or navigating mental health struggles. After 15 years in pastoral ministry, and “hands-on” experience in addiction recovery and mental health, I personally know what it means to wreck your entire world and identity, and to come out the other side with a clear purpose and self. My work now is about using that experience to support others in finding their way forward, whether through coaching, consulting, speaking, or training.
The goal is simple: to connect in a way that’s honest, practical, and unpretentious. There’s no sugarcoating here, just real conversations, evidence-based material, and spiritual guidance shaped by years of experience and a desire to see people thrive. My background has brought me face-to-face with the complexities of human struggle, shame, and resilience. I’ve walked these paths myself and have spent decades alongside others on their journeys.

FREE SUICIDE PREVENTION TRAINING:
Let’s end the stigma around Mental Health and Suicide Prevention within Churches and Faith Communities.
As a certified QPR suicide prevention trainer, let’s break the stigma around mental health in Christian churches and faith communities together.
Every suicide is preventable, a fact we also wrestle with after one occurs. Suicide prevention is everyone’s responsibility, which is why I offer a free 30-60 minute QPR suicide prevention training for faith communities and non-profit organizations, either virtually or in person. After spending a year developing and delivering training for faith leaders across Montana, I’ve learned this is an essential part of faith communities and churches. This training is relatable, approachable, and focused on giving people practical skills to recognize and respond to someone in crisis.
For faith communities, this training will align with your community’s vision and spiritual context. For Christian churches, this honors Scripture, loves your neighbors, and respects orthodoxies. This was developed over a year in conjunction with training faith leaders so it could work within any faith tradition.
Additional training and EDUs are available upon request.

How It Works
- Step 1: Spark the Fire – Free Conversation
Let’s chat! In a no-pressure conversation, you’ll share your goals and aspirations. I’ll listen attentively and offer insights on how my coaching or speaking expertise can help you achieve them. - Step 2: Crafting Your Journey – Personalized Plan
Based on our conversation, we’ll create a customized proposal outlining specific strategies and approaches tailored to your unique needs. We’ll refine the plan together until we’re both excited and confident about the path forward. - Step 3: Action & Empowerment – Agreement & Support
