Life has a way of teaching us things no classroom or title can fully prepare us for, especially when facing addiction, searching for spiritual clarity, or navigating mental health struggles. This journey brought me face-to-face with the complexities of human struggle, shame, ego, and resilience. I was forced to sort through my shit long enough until I got comfortable with the stench and could scrape my way back into sanity and salvation:
Defects, dysfunctions, demons, and dark moments are not death sentences.
What has evolved over the last couple of years, including AA, writing, and my business, is a suite of tools, training, and topical experience that is all I know now. One of the most fundamental things I believe in is change.
After 15 years in pastoral ministry and “hands-on” experience in addiction recovery and mental health, I know what it means to have your world and identity fall apart, and then to put it back together with a clearer being and purpose.
Frameworks for Leadership, Mental Health, & Spiritual Transition
I help individuals, faith communities, and organizations with the frameworks necessary to handle deconstruction, reconstruction, and the logistical realities of leadership.

Speaking & Teaching
Drawing on ministry and recovery experience, studies in psychology and philosophy, I bring talks that bridge ancient and modern contexts Topics range from the historical world of the Bible and its practical application today to the realities of building resilience through addiction and trauma recovery. I provide an honest, evidence-based perspective on how people navigate faith, shame, and change.

Training & Program Facilitation
Programs focused on human development, leadership, and crisis intervention. This includes my curricula, Every Human’s Journey and Unboxing Leadership, as well as custom training for mental health and suicide prevention. As a former QPR-certified trainer, I also faith communities and organizations practical training to recognize warning signs and build healthier communities.

Professional Writing & Curriculum Development
Custom instructional material and educational resource development for organizations and leaders. This includes writing for specialized contexts and comprehensive projects. I help with research and development necessary to turn concepts into functional programs that serves the integrating human.

1-on-1 Coaching: Recovery & Transition
Direct support for individuals navigating life, from addiction, leadership burnout, or a collapse of spiritual identity. My work integrates recovery sciences and cognitive behavioral concepts with spirituality to help people manage major life transitions and crises. We create a space for the dark moments of life to find the accountability and clarity necessary to rebuild an effective path forward.
Every Human’s Journey
Every Human’s Journey is a 12-week curriculum designed for small groups navigating personal descovery and inward understanding. Intergrating the Hero’s Journey with Jungian psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Theory within a group model provides a structured experience for transformation.
How It Works
- Step 1: Consultation & Scope — We begin with a direct conversation to identify the specific challenges you or your organization are facing. Whether you need a speaker for a retreat, training for a leadership team, or 1-on-1 coaching, this step is about determining if my background in recovery, ministry, and human development aligns with your objectives.
- Step 2: Strategy & Proposal — I develop a proposal that outlines the framework, research, and timeline for the engagement. For organizations, this includes a breakdown of the curriculum or project management needs; for individuals, this is a structured coaching plan. We refine the details until the expectations and deliverables are clear.
- Step 3: Agreement & Logistics — Once the strategy is set, we finalize a clear contract that defines roles, responsibilities, and the financial investment. This ensures transparency and a professional foundation for the work, whether it is a one-time speaking engagement or a long-term consulting project.
- Step 4: Implementation & Execution — We move into the active phase of the work. This is the application of the research and methods outlined in our plan—conducting the training, delivering the teaching, or beginning the coaching sessions. We work through a structured timeline to ensure the project stays on track and meets the identified goals.
- Step 5: Assessment & Integration — Upon completion, we debrief to evaluate the impact and discuss the practical integration of the work. For organizations, this often includes planning for how to independently sustain the new frameworks or identifying the next steps for community development.
- Ongoing Partnership: The goal of my work is functional clarity and long-term resilience. I remain available for follow-up questions, feedback, and future collaborations as you continue to implement these strategies within your life or organization.
